FAQ

Of the questions I receive online and through my contact form on this site, the most frequently occurring theme is about my services and availability.  As a quick reference, I’m posting those most common questions and answers here.

Q: Are you available for hire?
A: Yes!  I am a consultant by trade, and am available for projects requiring deep expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, ETL, reporting, and training.  With over a decade developing solutions on the Microsoft BI stack, I’ve accumulated a virtual bag of tricks for dealing with data architecture and transformation, allowing me to hit the ground running on solving data problems. Through my company, Tyleris Data Solutions, I have helped scores of clients build solid data solutions.

Q: Do you offer training?
A: Yes – I have a great deal of experience in technical training on SQL Server BI topics for audiences with a wide range of skillsets. Over the years I have built a mature set of courses that can be delivered either onsite or remotely.

Q: Are you available for work as a full time, permanent employee?
A: I am not available for permanent or contract-to-hire positions. However, if you are looking for expert-level work in the business intelligence or data warehousing space, I am happy to help on a project or long-term contract basis.

Q: Can you speak at my user group?
A: One of my favorite things about what I do is that I get the opportunity to share with others.  To the extent my schedule allows, I am happy to speak at technical user group meetings.

Q: How can I reach you?
A: Send me a message via the contact form on this site, and I’ll follow up with you. You can also catch up with me on Twitter.
