SSIS Training Classes for Summer 2016

classroom-470680_1920If you are looking for affordable, high-quality training on SQL Server Integration Services, you may be interested in one of the two full-day workshops I have scheduled for August of this year. I’ll be taking my popular course Building Better SSIS Packages on the road to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and San Antonio, Texas.

This course is designed for the data professional with some experience with either DTS or SSIS. Registration is open for both events now.

I also offer customized private training classes as well. Contact me if you’d like to chat about these public classes or to arrange a private class for your team at your office.

  1. Tim, something that might be useful in your classes is addressing the use of traceon 610 and option(recompile) within SSIS – both data flows and sql tasks. I’ve recently started testing with these to address performance problems with plan caches of data flows that wildly fluctuate and also reducing logging into heap staging tables. So far the results are inconclusive but seems like these might be worthy additions to anyones ETL toolbox. Thanks, Gary
